Yes. Quadrex is a combination recess: it takes a Phillips bit or a square (Robertson) bit, and it holds a square bit noticeably better under torque. If your crew is already set up for Phillips, a Quadrex screw drives with the bits you have — you simply get the option of a square bit where you want more grip.

No. Every part comes as a 100 box as well, and the part number does not change between box sizes. Buy 100, prove the joint on the real material, then order the quantity the run needs.

Black phosphate is an interior coating that takes paint well and is what most cabinet work uses. Zinc is the general-purpose plated finish. Dry lube reduces drive torque, which matters on long screws and in dense stock. No. The unit of sale is the box, and the smallest box is 100. That is deliberate rather than awkward: a cabinet shop does not buy eleven screws, and pricing by the piece only makes it harder to compare two products against each other.

If you know the specification, use the Screw Finder and set the axes you are sure about - it narrows as you go, and you do not have to fill in all seven. If you have a part number, search it directly.

It is a diameter, not a length - measured across the outside of the threads. A #8 is a #8 whether it is half an inch or three inches long. The diameter chart gives the real measurement for every gauge.

It depends on the head. A flush head is measured overall, from the top of the head to the point; a head that stands proud is measured from the bearing surface under the head. The full explanation is here, and every product page says which applies to that screw.
